Felonies are any charges in which a court may sentence a convicted felon to state prison.
Felonies are any charges in which a court may sentence a convicted felon to state prison. Some examples of felonies are most drug offenses, first degree burglary, robbery and homicide. Some crimes such as domestic violence, auto theft, and second degree burglary can be charged as either a felony or a misdemeanor. These are known as “wobblers”.
