Contrary to rumor Chapter Seven Bankruptcies are still available to many under the new law.
The Bankruptcy Law has changed and you need a lawyer who will carefully advise you on whether declaring bankruptcy is right for you and if it is which chapter you should use. Chapter Seven allows you to void all or most of your debts but it is not available to everyone.
